Set in gorgeous Rutland, Greendale is a beautiful, small, quiet, adults-only, touring caravan & camping park. The campsite is set in rolling countryside and has beautiful views as far as the eye can see. A walk along our quiet lane will take you to Whissendine village with its cosy, dog-friendly pub, well stocked convenience store/post-office and a unique working windmill producing organic flours and porridge. We are a Tranquil Park and have built our reputation on ensuring our campers have a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings, with lovely clean facilities and friendly faces amongst staff and fellow campers.

Greendale has an ongoing commitment to conservation and the environment. The David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation was achieved in 2012/13. Birdwatching is guaranteed, keep an eye out for our nesting tree sparrows. We have resident breeding greater spotted woodpeckers and lots of other species of wild birds.

Rutland water is amongst the country’s best known activity centres. Many of our campers cycle to Rutland Water from the campsite to enjoy the scenery, wildlife, facilities and activities. But there is so much more to this beautiful area and lots of fabulous cycling and walking directly from the campsite.
